Well....I would say we can get "300+hrs standby time" if we turn everything off....including the phone!!! ;P
The best I'm getting is slightly more than 2 days in standby with a few sms and 1 or 2 short phone calls...
Can we sue HTC for their misleading information?

hi,
I'm been thinking about buying the diamond for a long time now,so firstly,
Are you guys sure about the battery life? It says it has 300+ hours of standby! Could you guys check how long it lasts **after turning all unnecessary programs off**?
This might be a *little silly but, does working the gps need a GPRS connection. I mean, checking location on a maps program? Because current GPRS plan is based on my downloads. I'm afraid running some map program would consume major bandwidth!?
Thanks so much

sleek, Yes of course. batt is the biggest problem. it drained really fast 8hrs max. (including talktime, sms etc.) if you are planning to do "typing" notes without a keyboard, the job becomes difficult. other than that, i love this set.
