looks good on paper

Rating: 3 out of 10 (Poor)
Pros: good set of features for average user
Cons: camera has zoom only in VGA resolution. Bad fit.
Opinion:
The phone looks good in pictures and the spec sheet. The handset that I bought had panel gaps - so much for the dust and splash resistant body panels! The service people took more than two months to get a replacement panel to fix the panel gap - so much for prompt service backup. I hope some of the bosses at Sony Ericsson read this.
The camera is atmost disappointing with zoom possible only in VGA resolution. I wonder how many people take VGA resolution pictures with a 3 MP camera resulting in a Cybershot camera without zoom. The image quality is positive. Painful / uncomfortable ear-phones add to the woes.

Good simple mid-range phone with GPS

Rating: 7 out of 10 (Very good)
Pros: Compact size + Good build quality from Sony Ericsson Phone. The music player is good among the pack of competitor. Personally, I find the black color edition nicer than the cyan colour, which could be more appealing to younger consumer. This phone still use the M2 memory stick - no need to fork out extra money. The Camera is effective and has face detection feature.
Cons: The memu is showing its age as new offering from Samsung & Nokia, even the more dreadful Apple iPhone. The CPU is abit lag when u open music player and do sms together. The GPS may need u to pay for the internet connection, the map cannot be download from computer thern transferred to HP.
Opinion:
The phone looks appealing. I have just try for less than 2hrs. I still prefer SE as the battery life seems better than Nokia.

disappointed

Rating: 3 out of 10 (Poor)
Pros: great new look and nice buttons
Cons: WHY LED LIGHT FOR CAMERA????
Opinion:
really disappointed with the decision to use LED light for camera. i wanted to change my wife's outdated K800 for a new phone (i am using K850) but seems that i will have to wait until they come out with another one with xenon light. no points for the decision to use led's but like the new slim look.
