The best camera phone

Pros: Excellent pictures, splendid music (loud and clear), comfortable keypads (hardly press any wrong keys), beautiful design, magnificent display
Cons: finger prints need to be clean from time to time
Opinion:
I don't know about you guys complaining about the phone but I think it is a magnificent product. On phone, indeed the camera shots lost to the N-series but once you put it into the computer and print it out, you will find the N-series photos are quite dull in colour while the K850i's photos are very rich. The xenon flash without a doubt has helped to boost the photos but Sony should put in the light detector like the N82 which has 'true' xenon flash. The N82 releases two burst of xenon flash during a shot making the picture crystal clear and with smart contrast, the picture is awesome. But the K850i is not lame either, in terms of outdoor pictures, the K850i is absolutely the best choice and under bright sunshine, the pictures are incomparable. Opinion:
THE PHONE SUCKS. SONY ERICSSON SERVICE IN SG AT SIMEI SUCK TOO.. MY PHONE HANG AND SHUTDOWN WHEN EVER I CALL OUT.. AND THEY JUST UPGRADE MY SOFTWARE ONLY. I GOT THE SAME FAULT AGAIN THE NEXT TIME I ON THE PHONE AND THAT IS TWO WEEKS LATER.. I SENT IT BACK AND THEY LET ME WAIT JUST LIKE THE 1ST TIME A 8 DAY PERIOD AND JUST A STUPID SOFTWARE UPGRADE.. SUPER POOR SERVICE AND THE TECHNICIAN SUCK TOO. DID NOT EVEN BOTHER TO CHECK THE PHONE.

Battery performance sucks

Cons: Very poor battery
Opinion:
I bought this phone for the battery performance and features. While the features are good, it no way stands near the claimed batery performcen of 9 hrs talk time and 16 days standby. Repeated service to customer service is zero result. Really battery sucks.

SE has a lot of issues!

Opinion:
After 3 weeks of using my SE k850i, the screen suddenly black out then the keypad lighted up. After 3 days of assessment in SE service, they found out that it was board related and they want me to buy it for replacement..... until now my k850i is a scrap! ! ! i paid to use k850i for only 3 weeks.... My sister's k800 has also a lot of problems ! ! !

Frustrated with Phone - keep giving problems

Pros: (What looks like a) Good camera
Cons: Phone will hang, restart on its own, software if crap, causing phone to freeze, and now cannot start up or charge when battery is flat -- when phone is only 5 weeks old!!!
Opinion:
I read about the good camera features and thought it would be useful and convenient to get a phone with 5 MP camera.

To my horror, it died off on me after 3 wks, with the keypad and the round light surrounding the camera lens lighted up and the screen blank. It cannot be restarted or shut down. The service centre took 3 days to sort it out.

10 days ago, when the battery went flat as I was typing a sms, and I tried to charge it, it doesn't charge up and I cannot switch it on again.

Both times, I'm left hapless as my newer contacts are on the phone and even when I found a spare phone to use with my SIM card, I do not have the contacts I need.

I cannot imagine having to suffer such inconvenience with such a new phone. I will switch back to Nokia if Sony ... Read more
