Samsung INNOV8 (i8510)
CNET Asia Review
Very good
The good: GPS with support for A-GPS; HSDPA; Wi-Fi; 8GB flash memory; Bluetooth A2DP; 3.5mm audio jack; good image quality. 7.7
out of 10View score
The bad: Glossy surface attracts fingerprints; software was a little unstable on our review unit; side-mounted 3.5mm audio jack and volume rocker that doubles as zoom lever could be better placed.
The bottom line: The INNOV8 is a high-end handset with almost every feature currently available and could rival any of the Nokia Nseries models.

Done a better job with S60 3rd edition than the Nokia N96 but can still improve with build in software
Nov 17, 2008Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: Much better build than the N95 8GB, More reliable and faster than the N96
Cons: Still need to improve on the OS
Opinion:
Having bought a N96 and being totally frustrated by it, the Innov8 was a great relief to own.
However sometime the contact memory will disappear from its storage location and will only be revive if I go thru the setting option again or re start the phone. Sending the phone back to the agent is a challenge when trying to explain to the counter staff which are not well verse with their products.
The OS function ok, there is no inbuild editing of photos or video where in this area the Nokia excel.
The lens cover was the best thing to come in a mobile phone
The best attempt is still buggy.

Pros: camera, functions, vocal and speaker clarity.
Cons: auto shuts off and requires battery removal to restart.
Opinion:
Gotten this one about 2 weeks ago, 01 week later the first problem surfaced. It has happened in a space of over 1 week. It shuts off for no reason. And you cannot restart it. Only when you remove the battery, then can you restart the whole set. Asi i do not know what is the trigger for it. Will bring this in to Samusung if it happens again and see what they say.
Excellent Camera Phone with full functions & features!
Oct 17, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Full connectivities, GPS (having Full-version of the navigation software and maps), WiFi, HSDPA, DLNA, USB,
Cons: Lack of TV-out cable
Opinion:
Am holding on to the 1st 8MP camera phone here. With 8GB of internal memory, I am shootings all that I can capture; cool also with the video recording at 120 frames per second (as stated).
Navigation is also cool (frankly speaking, its more of the ERP rate calculation that I am testing which is pretty useful).
Overall, an excellent phone!
