First Take

By Reuben Lee

Sony Ericsson has once again upped the ante in the camera-phone business with the latest announcement of its highest-resolution and most feature-packed camera-phone to date, the C905 Cyber-shot. From an industry-leading 8.1-megapixel camera and loads of imaging functions to connectivity options that include Wi-Fi, HSDPA and GPS, the Cyber-shot phone certainly has it all. Suffice to say, it looks really good on paper in terms of specifications, but can it deliver on its promised features? Looks promising

Rating: 8 out of 10 (Excellent)
Pros: 8.1mp camera, gps receiver, wi-fi, large 2.4" screen, camera controls
Cons: non-symbian, no optical zoom, 3.5mm jack?
Opinion:
This will probably succeed my N82. The camera function is no doubt awesome, as it is of the Cybershot line. I just wonder whether it will come with an adaptor for a 3.5mm audio jack, or should I just stick to my iPod? It's either the C905 or Samsung's upcoming INNOV8.

Amazing

Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Ordinary Phone or Digital Camera
Cons: Non OS, No Game console
Opinion:
Complete and best phone of the year I think. Music, Camera, Video Call all in one
What about Battery performance??
the memory should be 8GB for 8.1 mpix camera, what do you think 'SE'!!

Best normal phone

Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: 8.1mp, wi-fi, xenon light,
Cons: no support for 3rd party software
Opinion:
This phone is pack with all the stuff that I need, wif-fi, good camera with xenon light. It does not support 3rd party software. I do not need any 3rd party software or any wonderful multimedia software support so that doesn't affect me on my urge to get this phone. The downside should be the battery performance, which is the commom problem shared by all SE phone. As long as the battery can last me 1 day it will be good enough, but I still hope SE can improve on the battery performance.
