CNET Asia Review
Excellent
The good: Slim and stylish design; solid build quality; full range of wireless features; works right out of the box; snappy performance; excellent battery life. 8.7
out of 10View score
The bad: Counter-intuitive camera autofocus; media browser could do with a little upgrade; Easy Dial feature not available.
The bottom line: The Nokia E71 is easily one of the best QWERTY smart phones that combine strong features as well as a good balance between business and entertainment, at a competitive price.

fantanstic device !!!
Nov 18, 2008Rating: 10 out of 10 (Perfect)
Pros: great performance, s/w stability, solid built, feature packed, affordable price range, steady battery life!
Cons: missing touch screen features, low quality camera features...but hey, after all it's a business phone!
Opinion:
After shopping around for few months for a smart phone with the necessary features, came across E71, initial reaction from pictures --> not so impressive. I saw a demo piece in one of the shops --> got swept away by the classy looks as well as the features. Grabbed one couple of weeks ago. Has been the best phone I've used so far !!
Simply fantastik!
Nov 9, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Sleek and slim design
Cons: cannot find any yet
Opinion:
Could the alphabets on the keyboard be faded off after some time? That's what I am afraid of.....
One of the best Nokia I have ever had!
Nov 7, 2008Rating: 9 out of 10 (Spectacular)
Pros: Good battery life, sturdy handset with solid features
Cons: Still having a hard time trying out the VOIP
Opinion:
The E series, particulary the E71 is not for everybody. If you are looking for a workhorse and you are always on the go, the E71 is just the perfect partner. The only attractive feature that draw my teenager chilfren is the Wi-fi. The ability to edit office documents, worksheets and storage space brings it to the league of other PDA's like Palm and Compaq. Memory is amazing as its battery life. Sure it will be outdone by newer models soon but the E71 is a trailblazer and I am glad I got one.
