CNET Asia Review
7.3
out of 10View score
The bad: Camera light is fiddly to use; side buttons are easy to hit accidentally; less internal memory than we'd like.
The bottom line: A beefed-up RAZR with 3G capability, the RAZR V3x maintains the solid design platform of the original, and adds in some snazzier features, most notably a serviceable camera and a reasonable amount of built-in memory. It's not state of the art, but it has enough going for it to please both the feature and style conscious.

Mar 15, 2007Rating: 2 out of 10 (Terrible)
Pros: Looks good (to me at least), decent memory space
Cons: Restarts often, Extremely laggy, non-user friendly, Short Battery Life, Colour peels off easily
Opinion:
Outer Design: Subject to personal preferences
Outerlayer tend to peel off
Weight: Heavy, but typical of early 3G phones
Userbility: Poor.
1) Dictionary used for SMS is bad
2) Various settings not located properly
3) Extremely laggy (EXTREMELY, no joke)
4) Likes to restart
5) Side buttons prone to being pressed when
in pocket.
Battery Life: Pathetic (Battery life shortens
ALOT as time pass)
Screen: One of the best(or IS the best) in
the market. Good quality + wide
Sound: Average.
Camera: Relatively good. 2MP, Auto Focus
But not very good under some lighting

Very Poor Effort
Dec 28, 2006Rating: 1 out of 10 (Abysmal)
Pros: 3G, Sytle, Flip
Cons: Bad programming, bad reception, extremely poor functioning
Opinion:
Well I had it for 3 months and I am about to throw it in the rubbish bin. For starters whilst typing text messages it just stuffs up and writes all this gibberish. Then you cannot delete the gibberish. Then it does not save words you use in sms'ing and that is very poor. The software lacks a professional finishing.
Now about 6 weeks ago the phone started to make static noises in the ear piece whilst I was in calls and the worst thing was that the person on the other end of the line could hear it too! I gave it back to my provider and they sent it to Motorola to be repaired. What I discovered was that Motorola has a very slack repair team. I get it back and it is still doing it! Now it is back there getting "fixed" again - but as soon as I get it back I am changing over ... Read more
3 days than it broke
Dec 13, 2006Rating: 2 out of 10 (Terrible)
Pros: great sleek look
Cons: software and hardware
Opinion:
ok the phone looks great, obviously i wouldn't have bought it if it didn't. it has some cool features, but is lacking compared to sony and nokia although it's price range is very appealing. the PROBLEM??? after three days my phone just shut down and when i tried to charge it, it would not charge. i took it to the retailer and they said it was short fused and the software had a virus. how can u get a virus when i haven't even downloaded a thing??? they said overcharging was the reason for it becoming short-fused, but it's hard to believe considering i was watching it and right after the battery was full i removed it just like it said. i mean if 10 seconds of overcharging will cause it to short fuse than the hardware is a piece of junk. sounds are cool, but u have to be careful not cover the speakers with ur hand. picture and ...
