HTC Touch HD

htc touch diamond default

Hi,
I got a new HTC touch Diamond but the home screen does not show 3d default screen. How can I set this? Thank you very much (I tried removing the battery and then re-starting but to no avail).

go to the settings/today-->items n check on htc touch i guess

Awaiting with fear and hope

Another "iPhone killer" they claim. But no on-board 8, 16 or 32 Gigabyte of memory - no VGA out - but a great screen -extreme resolution (taken from the Sony Xperia that HTC is making now of course) and a good CPU.

I give it the reason of doubt, but it might be a good hit for those like me owning a Diamond and finding the VGA resolution too small fro the screen.

Will be the next (5th) HTC device I buy in 2.5 years.

WIll it take the new 16GB Micro SD?

with Sandisk confirming the introduction of the 16GB microSD card, I wonder if Touch HD will be compatible with it. I mean since HD is launched as a multimedia handheld it sure has Very limited memory. & with the new 16GB MicroSD it will really make full use of the 3.5mm jack & the wide screen for mp3 & videos.

Anyone have any idea whether there's LED notification for missed calls, incoming msg / email?

Touch HD

Hi there

it has been almost 1 year that i want to buy a good PDA and always new phones coming up .but know i want to buy so i need your help to advice me to choose one of these phones HTC touch Pro or HTC touch HD or sonyericson Xperia x1.please help me on this or forward it to who can help.

My choice

I've done the research and I've made up my mind on the HTC HD. one of my big reasons is the screen size. I want big screen. All the other features look fine too. I did look at the Sony Exp. but read a not so good review on that right here on Cnetasia. From what I've read I think I would be making a good choice.

Any comments from anyone?

Yes, I think 16GB card can be supported. I read it in one of the reviews. However, you can call up HTC to double confirm.
