All rounder but needs a little getting used to.

Opinion:
I came to Panasonic seduced by the wide angle Leica lens and Optical Image Stabilisation. My last camera was a basic Olympus FE 230. Menu system and scenes on Olympus much easier to use, you really need to re-educate yourself to get the most out of the Panasonic. The wide angle delivers as promised and 10.1 megs gives more than adequate resolution to allow zooming in. Flash is good although sometimes the lens barrel casts a shadow to the left of the (viewed) image. My biggest problem is images are a little oversharpened or over-contrasty and colour balance is very warm in indoor situations. The manual white-balance option is a saviour. This camera has more manual control than the Olympus so you can certainly take excellent pictures using your own judgement but the auto pictures are rather hit and miss. Technically this is an excellent camera but its not user friendly.

FX 36 with the new 25mm wide angle lens

Cons: $$$$$
Opinion:
I personally like the video input. It can record video in HD format (16:9)@ 30fps. This is the major improve in all the lumix predecessors.
New member of the iA also helps very well when the picture is over or under exposure.

the good things come with a BUT....

The price i a little high at sgd$$600
and the design is still the same at the aging FX33

perfect landscape shots!

Cons: price is a little bit high
Opinion:
1) The 25mm wide angle is a perfect choice for those who like to take landscape pictures
2) 25mm wide angle is good for tight space
3) Leica Lens
4) Record video in HD format 16:9

the set back:

1) Too expensive @ SGD599
