The good: 7x optical zoom lens; sensor-shift image stabilization.

The bad: Awkward control system; slow maximum aperture range; merely average image quality.

The bottom line: Casio tries to make a statement with the EX-V7's 7x optical zoom and sensor-shift image stabilization, but awkward controls and ho-hum image quality make this camera merely mediocre.

Pictures qualioty bad

Pros: compact strong battery life - start up is sure fast.
Cons: nice 7 X zoom
Opinion:
Picture quality not on par with lots of other makes.

Very inferior picture quality under low lighting with no flash aid. Coloring could be very unnatural.

Not able to capture fine details even at minimun zoom.

noise is a issue here.

AT that price range there are other makes that offers better quality pictures.

Had it for about 2 weeks before selling it off. Bought it new during an overseas trip. Was very disappointed with picture quality.
