The good: In-camera optical image stabilization; relatively compact; great mix of auto and manual features.

The bad: Auto white balance is warm in tungsten light; no raw-plus-JPEG mode; only 6 megapixels.

The bottom line: With its built-in image stabilization and comfy mix of manual and automatic features, the Pentax K100D is one of the best dSLR bargains on the market.
