Apple announces new laptops which feature glass multitouch trackpad and its first sub-US$1,000 notebook.
Apple CEO Steve Jobs on Tuesday announced updates to the company's MacBook laptop lineup, including Nvidia graphics, a glass multitouch trackpad, a thinner casing crafted from a single block of aluminum, solid-state drives, some price reductions, and more.
As expected, Apple also released its first sub-US$1,000 notebook. The announcements took place at the company's Cupertino, Calif., headquarters.
