Showcasing the drool-worthy
IDF showcases tomorrow's technology today
Sep 20, 2007
From an iPhone-looking communications device and wireless USB display to a robotic automobile, we bring you some of the cool tech at this year's Fall IDF in San Francisco.
Intel plans to introduce handheld communication devices such as this sleek-looking prototype unit that somewhat resembles a stretched version of the Apple iPhone. Ironically, while the device is expected to enable full Internet experience in your pocket, most people will be hard-pressed to find a pocket that can fit a device this big. It was shown off during the keynote address by Anand Chandrasekher, Intel's senior VP and general manager of the Ultra Mobility Group.
