i started djing while in nyc in '98 playing drum n bass/ jungle. i was a part of
several weeklies and parties in both nyc and then buffalo, eventually gaining
enough respect to play some huge shows and becoming a resident dj for the
longest running drum n bass weekly in buffalo...'the return'. i had the pleasure
of playing with some of the best dnb producers and dj's worlwide including:
adam f, j majik, dj dara, reid speed, total science, stakka & skynet, dj trace,
soul slinger, dj rap.... then drum n bass kinda faded on me and this city...for
the past 4 years i got back to my indie rock / experimental roots and at the
same time into hip hop, trip hop and downtempo...so thats where i'm kinda at
with music...i have a very diverse record collection and love to mix up all
genres. i've found a perfect spot in buffalo for opening with great musicians
like dj krush (rochester), boom bip, amon tobin, dj spooky, roc raida, soul
position (rjd2 and blueprint), dj dopey, One Self (Vadim & Yarah Bravo)...now
within the past 2 years i have been working on some original tracks and have
even been working with some bands and experimental projects. so if you
check out any upcoming dj sets expect some original material. it's hard to
describe your own music, so i won't...this is from a listener on mperia.com ...
"Developed soundscaping to climactic interludes leaving the listener in a
contemplative state. The eloquent sounds in Moscow in a Snow Globe sharply
contrast other tracks and reveal a great understanding of composition in both
refined and raw states." from Soulfurnished.
