Question on Mobile Phones:

I am using the Sony Ericsson P1i with operator SingTel. For email service, SingTel provides BlackBerry and MobileMail. I used the email wizard on my P1i to set up my email account. But whenever I try to send an email, I get an error message. Can you help?

First of all, if you have signed up for a push-email account (BlackBerry), you should receive a set of instructions on how to get your account set up on the phone. As far as I can remember, this involves a registration process and you'll have to log in to the Web site and configure the email accounts you want to associate push-email with. For more details on how to set up your BlackBerry account, you may want to refer to SingTel's Web site here.

Since you didn't specify what the error message was, another possible problem could be that your data service account hasn't been set up properly. For that, you'll need to contact the operator and get them to send you the relevant account settings. These should come in the form of SMSes and you simply need to save them onto your phone.

Alternatively, the user manual is a good place to start if you want to troubleshoot problems. It's a gem, really.
