How can I update the maps on my Nokia 6110 Navigator? Originally it has Singapore, JB and KL maps, all of which are out of date now.

The easiest and most cost-effective way to update your maps on the Nokia 6110 Navigator is by downloading the free Nokia Map Loader program onto your PC. Nokia Maps is now in version 2.0, so you might want to check if you already have that. If you don't, you can download the program and install it on your device.

After installing the Map Loader software, you can download the maps you wish to install on your phone by selecting it from the list. Do note that you'll need to open the Nokia Maps program at least once on your device before you can install more maps on the handset. The rest of it you can actually simply follow the onscreen instructions. Depending on which countries you are looking at, some files are a lot bigger than others, so make sure you have sufficient space in your memory card.
