Not literally, of course! The new PlayStation 3 firmware slated for today unlocks full-screen Adobe Flash support for the console's integrated Web browser. The latest development is a plus when it comes to sites built entirely in Flash, such as most of Hollywood's official movie webpages.
On a separate note, there have been rumors about the PS3 getting more affordable PS3 in 2009. Hopefully, Sony can make this a reality and deliver a slimmer design at the same time. Should we make this our X'mas wish for 2008?
Unless you're into cold sandwiches for lunch, which is cold comfort for most of us Asians who like our victuals toasty, here's a nifty way to keep your meals hot, particularly if your office is too stingy to pack a microwave. Thanks once again to Thanko, quirky electronics maker of USB gewgaws like the USB tie fan and USB Eye Warmer, this USB-powered Lunchbox puts your plug-and-play port to more practical use.
Measuring 140 x 200 x 90mm and weighing 175g, the gizmo looks big enough to keep two smallish bento boxes (or one big meal box) nice and steaming at 60 degrees Celcius, although Thanko doesn't state how long it'll take to bring the food up to a piping hot temperature. According to the Web site literature, the heater is made of anodized aluminum supplemented by styrofoam insulation, so you can be assured you won't suddenly find yourself having a bonus steam facial out of the blue. Perfect with a hot cuppa brew right off a USB Cup Warmer.

Able Planet, known for developing headphones for those with mild to severe hearing loss, recently unveiled a new high-fidelity multimedia headset for PC gamers--the PS500MM.
Able Planet's chairman and CEO, Kevin Semcken, said:
"We designed this innovative new headset specifically with PC gamers in mind. Gamers tend to spend significant periods of time playing online games and such extended play of rich multimedia sounds puts a cumulative strain on the ears this can cause hearing loss and fatigue. Our technology minimizes this risk so that users no longer have to turn up the volume just to be able to drown out background noise." Read more »

When Apple was set to unveil its second-generation iPod touch back in September, stereo Bluetooth was among the features rumored to be included. Hopefully, no one was holding their breath.
Apple may have dropped the ball on including stereo Bluetooth in its latest crop of iPods, but there are a few ways you can add Bluetooth streaming with accessories. One such accessory is the TuneStream from Scosche. It's one of the smallest Bluetooth adapters we've seen for the iPod.
The tuneStream doesn't work with every iPod, however, and when it does work it throws you a few annoying quirks. To find out if the TuneStream is right for you, read our full take over at CNET Reviews.
The Wakamaru is best known as a domestic robot that can greet guests and provide information like weather forecasts. But soon, it may be signing autographs and being trailed by paparazzi.
Tuesday marked the theatrical debut for the bot, which appeared onstage alongside real-life actors in a play that's being hailed as a first in robot-human artistic collaboration. Hataraku Watashi ("I, Worker"), by playwright Oriza Hirata, focuses on a couple who own two housekeeping robots, one of which loses its motivation to work.
