For a room clad in designer furnishings, it really needs a bedside radio that can cut it amongst the chic. The iYiYi has that all licked. Finished in shiny black and festooned with Tivoli's trademark knobs, it's a droolsome sight. We also dig the iPod dock and the remote which ensures we wouldn't have to roll over just to switch the dial. At S$599 (US$400.86), it certainly gives our piggy bank something to chew on.

The miniature iPod shuffle has been overshadowed by its new display-enabled cousins, simply since they have been available on the shelves since two months ago. First up, this isn't your typical USB knickknack. At US$225 a pop, it's in a league of its own. Now that we've established that, this USB Turntable actually converts your LPs, 12 inches and singles straight into your laptop. Forget about all the step-by-step guides that teach you how to save your vinyls digitally. All you need with this belt-driven USB Turntable is to plug it into the nearest USB port, fire up the idiot-proof Audacity software, and begin converting. No more wire-tangling adapters, special drivers and mismatched software. Even dear old dad could cop a spin on this without breaking into cold sweat. Elementary, my dear Watson.
Hot after the heels of the Gemei X-900 comes another venerable China-designed PMP manufacturer. The F335 packs in a portable gaming device form factor. And it looks it, too. A 4-inch screen, stereo speakers and a joystick nub. Opps, the joypad's on the wrong side.
According to aigo, the F335 is more of a portable video player. It has a 30GB hard drive, ample support for DivX, Xvid and AVI, and even a small stand for tabletop viewing. And in regards to gaming, it has three built-in 2D games which, sadly, cannot be refreshed by the user. Click here for the pricing details.

We know, we know. We were all gushing about the YP-T9's piano black surface before this. But purple? That's a right royal color and eminently suited for the aesthetic type who wants to veer away from cosmopolitan black. According to Samsung Singapore, the YP-T9 will be available in both black and purple editions when it arrives on the island's shores.
