Deja vu--slim T700 mobile phone

John Chan  |  Aug 07, 2008

Another hour, another T700. We're pretty sure the camera people at Sony and Sony Ericsson don't talk everyday, but couldn't they at least space out the launch of two completely different products that share the same name?

The T700 mobile phone is a low-end offering from the Japanese-Swedish outfit with a slim profile of just 10mm. This 3G handset comes with a 2-inch QVGA display and comes in three different colors (black-silver, black-red and silver). The price has yet to be announced though the company said that it will be available in Asia Pacific in Q4.

i doubt the their(Sony) 2 outfit didn't plan this naming convention at all, else it could be just plain stupidity for the japs. this model looks attractive though..

The problem is still: no 3.5 mm jack for us to listen to music, what a horrible oversight by SE.
