Sharp Aquos supporters rejoice! The Japanese company is launching in the coming weeks a new series of LCD TVs equipped with the latest bells and whistles in the visual technologies. Dubbed the G7-series, the new Aquos are future-proofed with 1,920 x 1,080-pixel LCD panels supplemented by dual 1080p HDMI terminals for true full-HD compatibility.
The new lineup also features an all-digital DVI socket for computer connectivity, beating the competitors' offering of a standard analog-only PC (D-Sub) variant. With an ultra-high 10,000:1 dynamic contrast and lightning-fast 4ms response time, the G7-series is definitely a strong contender among the various 1080p models out in the market. Do check back on this space as we update the pricings of these new entries closer to rollout.

I am currently on the market for an LCD. As much as I wanted a new Bravia, I would have to pass due to the simple fact of HDMI 1.3, or lack of. I now have my eye on either this set or the new Samsung F7 series which I know will include the HDMI 1.3. Can anyone tell me if this set will?
