What you see on the mobile phone screen is Google Maps. That blue dot in the middle is the phone's location. Yep, no Symbian OS, no Windows Mobile, Just plain old Java with Google Maps online.

We all go on and on about the newest tech, and yes... this is a tech blog... but sometimes we miss out on what's real. New tech costs just too much! New phone, new technology, iPhones, Windows Mobile phone, feature-packed Nokias. We are losing sight of what phones are for...

Toy museum, a blast from the past

Some people just have too many toys. I recently visited the Mint Toy museum in Singapore... It's at Seah Street. It's amazing that all these are from the personal collection of just one person. It was rather fun, but best to be enjoyed not with your kid, but more with your own brothers and sisters and maybe your mom and dad. It's a retro kind of thing, mostly toys you had in the past and would like to see again in this time and age.
