Facebook goes social with Connect

The idea of having a universal Web login has been suggested for quite some time--OnlineID is one. For convenience, Web users want to have one Web identity (username/password) to access their favorite Web services like MySpace, Yahoo Mail, Gmail, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and others, if possible.

Dino show invades Manila

Just visited the Dinos Alive World Tour 2008 in SM Mall of Asia where 31 robotic dinosaurs are in display. A life-size fossil of a dinosaur will greet you as you enter the venue. They will snap your pictures which the visitors can claim at the exit, for a fee, of course.

My recent visit to a popular coffeeshop recently prompted me to share with you this information. In my 1 hour of stay (I didn't bring my notebook with me by the way), I could see people visiting social-networking sites, downloading music, watching YouTube, sending emails, and chatting via instant messaging using their notebooks or Netbooks.
